Hornbuckle Heating & Air Conditioning has been in business since 1996 providing design and installation for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The company specializes in the design-build delivery method for new construction. We also offer remodeling work for the health care, industrial, institutional and commercial markets. Hornbuckle Heating & Air Conditioning is a registered engineering design firm and is licensed to provide professional design and construction services in Iowa, Illinois, Texas, Missouri, Michigan, North Dakota, Indiana, Idaho and Wisconsin.

A structured safety program is in place that includes regular safety meetings, continuing education, regular updating of MSDS books, implementation of safety equipment checks and site visits as well as implementation of OSHA approved safety standards. Our EMR is currently 0.78.

All mechanical design is done in-house including development and production of all design drawings in AutoCAD format.

Every project, without exception, is priced based on a detailed takeoff of the design. Every project begins first by determining the needs of each area of the building followed by a preliminary determination of system types to accommodate those needs. A detailed load calculation is then performed for each zone including code required ventilation air for occupants. Based on these calculations, equipment size, duct work design, grille selection, fan selection, static pressure calculations for motor/fan curve analysis, and needed accessories are determined. All pricing is based on actual design information-there are no "rules of thumb" used for estimating.
